R/C Airplane Designs

Most new R/C airplanes are unstable,
so we created a design process that
will give you confidence your plane will fly

FREE R/C AIRPLANE WEBINAR

Why design a plane from scratch?

There are tons of Ready-To-Fly models available and most are good flying.  What they can’t provide is the kick-ass sense of ACCOMPLISHMENT  you get from seeing your model fly:  First-Time Every-Time.

The BEST plane is the one you design for your mission. Stability and performance are non-negotiable.

We’re dedicated to building confidence in modelers with solid design principles, tested over time and proven to work.

We believe that modeling should be fun and inspiring with a proven formula for success, NOT stressful and painstaking sifting through half-truths and incomplete information on the internet….

That’s why we’re dedicated to helping modelers take the hobby higher, making more first flights.

R/C AIRPLANE DESIGN GUIDE

New to R/C?

Avoid the most common mistakes new airplane designers make.

Everything you need to know

  • We removed the complexity out of airplane design. 5 simple steps to a finished design.

  • No detail is left to question; every dimension from propeller size to rudder height is covered.

  • Make the model a size that's good for you and your flying field.

  • Beginners or Advanced modeler - you design the plane that suits your skill.

  • 3 Channel for easy flying or 4 Channel for full aerobatic control.

  • A proven process that has inspired confidence and created aviators.

When everything seems to be going against you, remember that aircraft take off against the wind, not with it.

  GOAL: FLY WITH CONFIDENCE

DESIGN PRINCIPLES

THE PROCESS MUST BE SIMPLE

R/C airplanes can be designed by YOU in a few hours.   One shortcut is taking complex aircraft equations and simplifying them down to their core principles.  To maintain heading the vertical tail needs to increase with wing size.  In the course we share what this ratio is and other simplifications that make R/C design possible for everyone.

STABILITY IS A MUST

The design framework is centered on getting the key principle correct….BALANCE.  For a stable plane aircraft all aerodynamic forces need to balance at the Center of Gravity.    Discover the process to feel confident your design will fly well and remove the fear of failure.

IF IT LOOKS GOOD, IT WILL FLY GOOD

We design planes that are meant to be flown. Bring your plane to the field knowing you have something special, good flying and great looking.  Step into the flying community with a new design you can be proud of

Nose-to-Tail Covered
You determine the size of the model you want to fly. The guide will walk you through the rest of the steps. All the key parts of the aircraft are taken into account to work well together.
